Lots of changes happening in the ward....new callings and releases! Should be a new exciting venture for the ward....
This is my last post as your Ward Missionary in the Littleton Ward. It has been a privilege serving you. "If you have determined to live righteously, don’t become discouraged. Life may seem difficult now, but hold on tightly to that iron rod of truth. You are making better progress than you realize. Your struggles are defining character, discipline, and confidence in the promises of your Father in Heaven and the Savior as you consistently obey Their commandments." -Richard G. Scott
"Given the challenges we all face today, how do we stay on the Old Ship Zion? Here is how. We need to experience a continuing conversion by increasing our faith in Jesus Christ and our faithfulness to His gospel throughout our lives—not just once but regularly." -M. Russell Ballard
"Small errors and minor drifts away from the doctrine of the gospel of Jesus Christ can bring sorrowful consequences into our lives. It is therefore of critical importance that we become self-disciplined enough to make early and decisive corrections to get back on the right track and not wait or hope that errors will somehow correct themselves." -Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Great resources for Christmas!
This weekend we had the privilege to have two baptisms in our ward. This gave us the chance to increase our understanding about the Light of Christ and the Holy Ghost. "If we understand the reality of the Light of Christ in everyone we see and in every meeting we attend and within ourselves, and understand the great challenge that we have—the surroundings in which we live, the danger which sometimes besets us—we will have courage and inspiration beyond that which we have known heretofore. And it must be so! And it will be so! All of this is a dimension of gospel truth that too few understand."
Interfaith Christmas Concert Next Saturday Dec 5 @ 7 PM #littletonrejoices #littletoninterfaith choirs from Saint Anne Parish, First Baptist Church, Congregational Church, First Church Unitarian, and Littleton Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
"Each of us already knows we should tell the people we love that we love them. But what we know is not always reflected in what we do. We may feel unsure, awkward, or even perhaps a bit embarrassed. As disciples of the Savior, we are not merely striving to know more; rather, we need to consistently do more of what we know is right and become better." -David A. Bednar
"Faith and character are intimately related. Faith in the power of obedience to the commandments of God will forge strength of character available to you in times of urgent need. Such character is not developed in moments of great challenge or temptation. That is when it is intended to be used. Your exercise of faith in true principles builds character; fortified character expands your capacity to exercise more faith. As a result, your capacity and confidence to conquer the trials of life is enhanced." -Richard G. Scott
"In my judgment, diligently searching to discover connections, patterns, and themes is in part what it means to “feast” upon the words of Christ. This approach can open the floodgates of the spiritual reservoir, enlighten our understanding through His Spirit, and produce a depth of gratitude for the holy scriptures and a degree of spiritual commitment that can be received in no other way. Such searching enables us to build upon the rock of our Redeemer and to withstand the winds of wickedness in these latter days." -David A. Bednar
"God makes it attractive to choose the right by letting us feel the effects of our choices. If we choose the right, we will find happiness—in time. If we choose evil, there comes sorrow and regret—in time. Those effects are sure. Yet they are often delayed for a purpose. If the blessings were immediate, choosing the right would not build faith. And since sorrow is also sometimes greatly delayed, it takes faith to feel the need to seek forgiveness for sin early rather than after we feel its sorrowful and painful effects." -Henry B. Eyring
Our own Sister Fernando was mentioned in this article about the Grotonfest! "This is our first time at Grotonfest, and I think it's cool," said Sri Lanka native Sithumini Fernando, who helped man the Mormon family history booth. "It's family-oriented, and that's something we're really big on. It's something everyone can come to and have a good time."
